Cooperative Mortgage Bank in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, on Thursday, April 12, and Friday April 13, donated food and other items to seven children’s home in the city.
The Communication and Public Relations Officer of the bank, Mrs Afolabi Olufunmilayo, who made the disclosure to the Nigerian Tribune, said that the gesture was an affirmation of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
According to her, the donated food and other items to the selected homes in Ibadan was a way of giving back to the society.
Acknowledging the act of reciprocity, a beneficiary of one of the homes, Pastor Ololade Ademolekun of Jesu Kids, appealed to other corporate bodies in the state as well as many Nigerians to emulate the Bank, by giving succor to orphans and underprivileged children in the society.
